UNIBA Psychology Students Achieve Success in the RUDI Competition
Three students from the Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Batam — Farza Rahimni, Abdi Kristian Rex Gultom, and Rachiel Hanna — successfully won 2nd Place in the RUDI (Ruang Dialog / Dialogue Space) competition, organized by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of Politeknik Negeri Batam.Held on October 5, 2025, the competition served as a platform for students to develop their communication skills, critical thinking, ability to convey ideas, and skill in building arguments through open dialogue.The success of the Universitas Batam Psychology team in securing 3rd Place reflects the students' capability and teamwork in competition, as well as their development of potential beyond the academic field.This achievement further strengthens Universitas Batam's commitment to encouraging students to actively develop their competencies, broaden their experiences, and confidently participate in various competitions and student activities.Congratulations to Farza Rahimni, Abdi Kristian Rex Gultom, and Rachiel Hanna on this proud achievement. Universitas Batam Wins 2nd Place in Speech Competition at LLDIKTI Region XVII Level
Universitas Batam has once again achieved notable success through a student who won an award at the Liga Talenta Mahasiswa Indonesia – LLDIKTI Region XVII (Indonesian Student Talent League).Adam Malik, a student from Universitas Batam, secured 2nd Place in the Speech Competition held on June 25, 2026, at the Al Insyirah Institute of Health and Technology, Pekanbaru.In the competition, Adam Malik demonstrated strong public speaking skills, delivering his ideas in a communicative, confident, and inspiring manner. He achieved a total score of 89.5, placing him second among the participating universities.This achievement is a source of pride for Universitas Batam and reflects the university's students' ability to compete and excel at the regional level. It is hoped that this accomplishment will motivate other Universitas Batam students to continue developing their potential, talents, and abilities.Universitas Batam extends its congratulations and appreciation to Adam Malik for this outstanding achievement. Amalya Dyta Nur Dzakya – Best Delegation, SMI Youth Exchange
Amalya Dyta Nur Dzakya, a student from the Medical Professional Program, Universitas Batam, has been awarded Best Delegation at the SMI Youth Exchange, a youth exchange and development program offering academic experience, leadership opportunities, collaboration, and international exposure.Throughout the program, Amalya and fellow delegates took part in a series of activities across three countries — Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. The agenda included a visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Singapore, an academic visit to Universiti Malaya, project presentations, an awards session, and various city tour activities, including visits to the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, sites in Singapore, and Prince of Songkla University in Thailand.In recognition of her ability, contribution, and performance throughout the program, Amalya earned the title of Best Delegate, becoming the only female delegate to receive the award.This achievement stands as proof of Universitas Batam students' drive to continually grow, courageously seize opportunities on the international stage, and bring honor to their alma mater through positive achievements and contributions on the global stage. Congratulations to Amalya on this outstanding accomplishment.
