Description
The Nursing Professional Program (Ners) is a professional education programme designed to prepare Bachelor of Nursing graduates to become professional nurses with strong clinical competence, critical thinking abilities, effective communication skills, and high moral integrity in delivering nursing care to individuals, families, groups, and communities.
In response to the rapid advancement of science, healthcare technology, and the increasing complexity of healthcare services, the Nursing Professional Program (Ners) serves as a platform for the development of professional competencies by integrating theoretical learning, clinical practice, research, and Community Service.
Through an innovative student-centred learning approach, the programme is committed to producing graduates who are capable of delivering high-quality, safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care.
Vision
To produce professional, caring, and ethical nurses capable of applying health technology and developing excellence in nursing science, particularly in community nursing, at the national and international levels by 2030.
Mission
To provide professional nursing education that develops creative and innovative programmes within community settings, encompassing health promotion, disease prevention, curative care, and rehabilitative care through community empowerment.
To conduct fundamental nursing research focusing on health issues and community nursing.
To carry out Community Service founded on the principles of caring, while actively contributing to the improvement of community health.
To establish sustainable partnerships with various stakeholders in the development of education, research, and Community Service, in support of achieving the programme's prescribed competencies.
Objective
To produce Bachelor of Nursing and Professional Nursing (Ners) graduates who are professional, caring, and ethical, and who possess competence in science, technology, and the arts (IPTEKS) within healthcare service settings, with excellence in community nursing.
To produce Bachelor of Nursing and Professional Nursing (Ners) graduates who are capable of conducting fundamental nursing research based on advances in science and technology, with excellence in community nursing.
To produce Bachelor of Nursing and Professional Nursing (Ners) graduates who are capable of undertaking Community Service based on the principles of caring and scientific knowledge, with excellence in community nursing.
To establish mutually beneficial partnerships with various stakeholders to support the sustainable development of education, research, and Community Service.
