Description
The Griya Husada Foundation initially established Universitas Abulyatama under the Decree of the Director General of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 58/D/O/2000. Subsequently, the institution was officially renamed Universitas Batam pursuant to the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia No. 242/D/O/2001, dated 16 November 2001, following the approval and recommendation issued by the Regional Coordinator of Private Higher Education (Kopertis) Region X, covering the provinces of West Sumatra, Riau, and Jambi.
The Bachelor of Law Study Program commenced its academic activities in October 2000 and was granted its operational licence on 25 February 2010 under Decree No. 1461/D/T/K-X/2020. The Study Program most recently received Accreditation Grade B from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) pursuant to Decree No. 157/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-XVI/S/VII/2013.
