Emergency Response and Disaster Relief Fundraising for Aceh and Sumatra

In response to the natural disasters affecting Aceh and Sumatra, the Sadhanamerta Student Association, in collaboration with the Nursing Student Association, organized a humanitarian fundraising campaign on Sunday, December 7, 2025.

The solidarity campaign was simultaneously conducted at six public gathering points across Batam City: KBC, Gelael, Kaliban, Pollux, K-Square, and Engku Putri. The initiative aimed not only to raise financial assistance for disaster-affected communities but also to foster students' social awareness, empathy, and crisis leadership through direct engagement with the public.

The campaign successfully raised IDR 9,500,000, which was subsequently distributed through the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) of Batam City. In addition to monetary contributions, the campaign also received in-kind donations, including food and clothing, to support communities affected by the disasters.
