Visit to Qurrotu A’yun Orphanage

The Nursing Student Association of Universitas Batam conducted a visit to Qurrotu A’yun Orphanage on May 23, 2026. The activity featured health education on oral and dental health, along with a demonstration on proper techniques for maintaining good oral and dental hygiene.

The educational session was designed to increase the children’s knowledge and awareness of the importance of maintaining oral and dental health from an early age. In addition to the educational presentation, participants took part in practical demonstrations to gain a better understanding of proper oral and dental hygiene practices that can be applied in their daily lives.

Through this activity, The Nursing Student Association Universitas Batam sought to contribute to improving health awareness among children while fostering students’ sense of social responsibility and concern for community health, particularly among children living in an orphanage environment.
